raebear, i have some suggestions for your stir-fry. i would cook the pasta in the black bean sauce and the tofu in oil with ginger and some other spices - whatever you have, but strong-flavored ones like cumin and curry powder. the veggies should get soft at about the same time the tofu gets crispy (5-7 minutes) if you heat the oil before adding anything. let us know how it turns out...
